The Bjorn Baker trained War Eternal (7g Pierro x Aleria, by Fastnet Rock) is in career best form at present and racked up his third successive stakes win at Eagle Farm on Saturday when beating highly rated import Yellow Jersey (Fr) to win the $160,000 Listed BRC The Wayne Wilson (1600m).

With his oldest Australian progeny about to turn three, St Mark’s Basilica is a young shuttle stallion that profiles for an upswing next season and his two weanlings offered at Inglis Great Southern this week were both sold with a filly from Jamita fetching $150,000.
