Fusaichi Pegasus works very well with NORTHERN DANCER line mares, having sired the Gr.1 winner Bandini from a DIXIELAND BAND mare and the Belmont Stakes runner-up Andromeda’s Hero from a STORM BIRD mare. He also has several black-type performers out of daughters of STORM CAT. NUREYEV sired the second dams of two of his Gr.3 winners, including Ravel.

Fusaichi Pegasus has an Australian Gr.2 winner out of a mare by DANEHILL, which is inbred 3 x 3 to DANZIG. This 3 x 3 inbreeding to DANZIG also appears in his Gr.2-placed son The Roundhouse, out of a mare by BELONG TO ME.
He obviously likes DEPUTY MINISTER having sired the Gr.1 winner Roman Ruler from a SILVER DEPUTY mare and the 12 ½-length stakes winner South Bay Cove from a daughter of SALT LAKE.
Two of his black-type winners are out of SEATTLE SLEW line mares, Bandini’s second dam is by SEATTLE SLEW and Gr.3 winner Ravel is out of a daughter of A.P. INDY.
