Peintre Celebre’s smart son Fantastic Love is out of a SADLER’S WELLS mare and the Gr.3 winner Chaibia is from a DAYJUR mare. His top Australian sprinter Bentley Biscuit is out of a LAST TYCOON mare and is therefore another inbred 3x4 to Northern Dancer. Peintre Celebre’s Gr.1-winning daughter Belle Et Celebre has a PHARLY mare as her second dam.

The BLUSHING GROOM line has provided Peintre Celebre with plenty of success. A CRYSTAL GLITTERS mare provided him with the Gr.1 winner Belle Et Celebre, and daughters of ARAZI produced Kareemah and Prairie Star. RAINBOW QUEST appears as the sire of the second dam of the top-class Byword and he has a Listed winner out of a NASHWAN mare.

RIVERMAN sired the second dams of Airmail Special and Chaibia and IRISH RIVER is the broodmare sire of Louve Royale. Peintre Celebre sired the dual Gr.1 winner Dai Jin and the Gr.3 winner Airmail Special from SHIRLEY HEIGHTS mares and the Oaks third Katiyra from a daughter of DARSHAAN.

He has sired Gr.1 performers from mares by SILVER HAWK, LEAR FAN and RED RANSOM - all sons of ROBERTO.

Peintre Celebre has sired the Gr.1 winners Sudan and Byword and the high-class Super Celebre from mares by Mr Prospector’s son WOODMAN, while Briviesca is from a daughter of MACHIAVELLIAN, the Gr.1-placed Aigrette Garzette is out of a GONE WEST mare and the Listed winner Precious Bunny is from a MISWAKI mare. MR PROSPECTOR sired the second dams of the Gr.1 winner Pearl of Love, the Australian Gr.2 winner Ballybleue, the Gr.2-placed Vison Celebre and the Listed winner Kareemah.

The SHARPEN UP branch of the Native Dancer line should suit as the smart Beheshtam, the Listed winner Van Gosh, the very useful Three Graces and the Gr.2-placed Buoyant from mares by KRIS.

Peintre Celebre made a fine start with SEATTLE SLEW, who sired the dam of the Gr.1 winner Pearl of Love and the second dam of the classic-winning Dai Jin. His Gr.3 winner Hearthstead Maison is also out of a SEATTLE SLEW mare. Secretariat sired the second dam of the Gr.1 winner Castledale.
