Haradasun is a half brother to five-time Group One winner, Elvstroem, by Danehill. Matings with DANEHILL’s daughters create 4f x 3m inbreeding to Danzig and four lines to the prepotent ALMAHMOUD with Haradasun.  His sire Fusaichi Pegasus’ success with Danehill mares is headed by Gr.2 Flying Pegasus and SP Poetic Genius, Mary Marvel, Switchblade and Flying Dansino at this early stage.

Danehill’s sire DANZIG automatically creates a dynamic sex balanced pattern with Fusaichi Pegasus.  Fusaichi Pegasus’ stakes winning daughter Fun In Flight is out of an ANABAA (by Danzig) mare.

BRIEF TRUCE mares also create a sex balanced Northern Dancer cross 5m x 4f.  Group 2 winner Tipungwuti is by Fusaichi Pegasus out of a Brief Truce mare.

STORM CAT, along with his sire STORM BIRD, is working extremely well with Haradasun’s sire Fusaichi Pegasus, producing Andromeda’s Hero, Saki To Me, Yasumori, Pegasusbystorm and Superfly.  Mares by TALE OF THE CAT, JOHANNESBURG, BLUEBIRD, HENNESSY, DOLPHIN STREET, LAKE CONISTON and THUNDER GULCH are from this line.

Mill Reef is responsible for producing the dam of Floral Pegasus (HK1) by Fusaichi Pegasus.  MAROONED, SHIRLEY HEIGHTS, WATER MILL and PAS DE SEUL are sons of Mill Reef.

The SIR TRISTRAM line has worked well with Haradasun’s damsire Marscay and second damsire Zamazaan.  His sons and grandsons such as OCTAGONAL, ZABEEL, GROSVENOR, DALMACIA, DR. GRACE, KAAPSTAD and MARAUDING appeal.

Two of Fusaichi Pegasus’ top US stakes winners are by sons of DEPUTY MINISTER - SILVER DEPUTY and SALT LAKE. Another son, DEHERE, has produced the Vanity Stakes winner Pure Joy by Fusaichi Pegasus.  FRENCH DEPUTY and GALLO DI FERRO are also sons of Deputy Minister.

BUCKPASSER has an outstanding record with Mr. Prospector.   Mares carrying Buckpasser include daughters of LAST TYCOON.  Fusaichi Pegasus’ SW son Dr. Green (NZ) is out of a Last Tycoon mare.

HALO, who appears through a daughter in Haradasun, can be sex balanced by using mares from this sireline. DON’T SAY HALO, IRGUN, SUNDAY SILENCE, FUJIKISEKI, MY HALO and MORE THAN READY daughters are good candidates.

BLUSHING GROOM line mares have worked well with Mr. Prospector. SW Imaginaire is by Fusaichi Pegasus out of a NOMROOD (Blushing Groom) mare.  Mares by NASSIPOUR, QUEST FOR FAME, PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKE and TAWFIQ are other examples.  

Mr. Prospector / Secretariat crosses have a good strike rate.  Broodmare sires carrying Secretariat include DEHERE, CHIEF’S CROWN, GRAND LODGE and KINGSTON RULE.

Secretariat is also damsire of STORM CAT, who, along with his sire STORM BIRD, is working very well with Fusaichi Pegasus in the Northern Hemisphere, producing Andromeda’s Hero, Pegasusbystorm and Superfly.  Mares by TALE OF THE CAT, BLUEBIRD, HENNESSY, DOLPHIN STREET, LAKE CONISTON and THUNDER GULCH would be good crosses.

CENTURY line mares have been responsible for two SPs by Fusaichi Pegasus to-date.  RUBITON, CENTAINE, CENTRO and EUCLASE daughters are candidates.

The SEATTLE SLEW line is working with Fusaichi Pegasus.  He is second damsire of Gr.1 winner Bandini, damsire of SP In Excelsis and Slew Peg and grandsire of SW Killenaule.  Seattle Slew’s half brother Lomond is responsible for SW Enemy of Average.  CITIDANCER, KINGSTON SEATTLE, WARRING NATIONS, YONDER and A. P. INDY line mares all supply Seattle Slew.
