Giant’s Causeway has already enjoyed spectacular success with descendants of MR. PROSPECTOR. The outstanding filly Ghanaati is out of a MR. PROSPECTOR mare and so is Aragorn, one of the best turf horses of 2006.

He has an impressive total of eight Gr.1 winners out of grand-daughters of Mr. Prospector - Shamardal is out of a daughter of MACHIAVELLIAN, Maids Causeway and Red Giant are both out of KINGMAMBO mares, My Typhoon is out of a MISWAKI mare, Frost Giant is out of a GONE WEST mare and Internallyflawless, Carriage Trail and Swift Temper are all out of SEEKING THE GOLD mares (as is Gr.2 scorer Cowboy Cal).

Gr.1 winner First Samurai has a second dam by FAPPIANO, while another Gr.1 winner Heatseeker is out of a mare by Fappiano’s son DEFENSIVE PLAY. Fappiano also sired the dam of the Gr.2 winner Diamond Omi and his grandson UNBRIDLED’S SONG is the broodmare sire of Gr.2 winner Hold Me Back.

Gr.2 winner Naissance Royale is from a mare by FORTY NINER. Other sons of Mr. Prospector which have sired the dams of good winners by Giant’s Causeway include AFLEET, LYCIUS, JADE HUNTER and CRAFTY PROSPECTOR.

BANNER SPORT, another son of Raise A Native, is the broodmare sire of Drilling For Oil, while MAJESTIC LIGHT, a grandson of Raise A Native, sired the dam of Bridge Game.

Giant’s Causeway’s matings with SADLER’S WELLS mares produced Japanese Gr.2-winning juvenile Eishin Apollon, Gr.3 winner Palavicini and the smart juvenile Viscount Nelson. First Samurai is out of a DIXIELAND BAND mare, while another Gr.1 winner, Aragorn, has a NORTHERN DANCER mare as his second dam.
