Oaks prospect Dazzles for Galileo

Trainer Aidan O’Brien nominated the G1 Oaks as a likely target for Dazzling (3f Galileo-Secret Garden, by Danehill) after the Galileo filly made an impressive winning seasonal comeback at Navan on Saturday.

The Swettenham Stud-bred Dazzling, a full-sister to G1 Irish 2,000 Guineas winner Roderic O’Connor, won a Curragh maiden last year and looks to have progressed through the winter after this cosy success in the Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Salsabil Stakes.

“I'm delighted,” O’Brien told irishracing.com “She's a lovely staying filly and she'll get further. She looks an Oaks filly and she'll have a run between now and then somewhere. She should get a mile and a half I would imagine. That was her first run – she wasn't finished and she should come on from it.”
