Giant’s Causeway Colt Tops Fasig-Tipton Fall Sale

A colt by leading sire Giant’s Causeway topped the second session of the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall Yearling Sale when knocked down for $310,000.

Consigned by Francis and Barbara Vanlangendonck’s Summerfield, the star colt was purchased by Marion Montanari, who, along with Coolmore Stud, co-bred the colt.

Offered as Lot 710, he is a full brother to stakes-placed Trinity College being out of Group Two placed City College from the family of Group One winner Imperial Beauty and stakes-winners Ancient Times, Midnight Air and Midnight Line.
