G3 novice chase 1-2 for Oscar

Baltiman (6g Oscar-Night Leader, by Supreme Leader) made it two wins from two starts over fences at Tipperary on Sunday when comfortably landing the G3 O’Dwyer Steel Like-A Butterfly for trainer Susie Finn.

The six-year-old, who was bred by Sean Gleeson, led home a 1-2 for Oscar with the Robert Tyner-trained Footy Facts (8g Oscar-Princess Henry, by Callernish) taking second.

Finn said of the winner: "He loves jumping fences, he’s very accurate and Tom Doyle said he was a joy to ride. We’ll give him a break now and see if there’s a race for him at the end of November."
