30th September 2008

Oratorio’s first crop have made a big impression at the yearling sales so far this year, with prices of up to 400,000 euros at Deauville, and he again made a splash on the opening day of the Goffs Million Sale.

A colt out of the Listed winner Queen Titi (by Sadler’s Wells) consigned from Carriganog Stud realised 260,000 euros when selling to agent Hugo Merry.

"I thought that he was one of the nicest horses in the sale," said Merry. "He’s been bought for an existing client and it has yet to be decided where he will be trained."
