Red Giant Relation Opens Winning Account

Superbly bred filly Internallyflawless (2f Giant;s Causeway x Tapatina, by Seeking the Gold) opened her winning account at the second time of asking when successful at Oak Tree Santa Anita on Sunday.

The Bob Baffert trained filly showed marked improvement when stepped up to the mile and put on turf, travelling three deep before hitting the lead midway down the straight and powering clear to beat the favourite by a length.

A homebred for Charles Fipke, Internallyflawless is closely related to world record holder and Group One winner Red Giant being by the same sire in Giant’s Causeway and from the same female family tracing to influential matriarch Konafa.

Internallyflawless is the first foal of Seeking the Gold mare Tapatina, a half-sister to champions Hector Protector and Bosra Sham.
