Tale of the Colt Tops Thursday Keeneland

The Keeneland September Yearling Sale continues to roll on with a Tale of the Cat colt from Dehere of the Dog topping proceedings on Thursday when he fetched $190,000.

Consigned by Woods Edge Farm and purchased by Maverick racing the colt is from stakes-placed Dehere of the Dog, a half-sister by Dehere to Group Three winner Sunray Spirit.

He is one of 18 yearlings by Tale of the Cat to sell for $100,000 or more at this sale so far, his top seller a colt from Golden Darling that made $370,000 to the bid of B.Wayne Hughes.
