Rock solid performance from Rochelle

Rock Of Gibraltar had a G3 1-2 at the Curragh on Saturday when the Andrew Kinsella-trained Rock Of Rochelle (3c Rock Of Gibraltar-Recoleta, by Wild Again) took the G3 St Jovite Renaissance Stakes from Rock Moss (3g Rock Of Gibraltar-Raghida, by Nordico).

Rock Of Rochelle, a Listed-winning juvenile, returned to his best with this victory after a number of problems.

"He’s had a lot of injury and sickness and we haven’t had the breaks with him," said Kinsella. "We were worried about the ground as well."

Rock Of Rochelle was bred by Beau Cheval LC and is owned by Her Diamond Necklace Farms.
