Westphalia is Danehill Dancer’s latest juvenile star

Westphalia (2c Danehill Dancer-Pharapache, by Lyphard) was produced with a well-timed run by Johnny Murtagh to take the G2 Champagne Stakes at Doncaster on Saturday and become the latest high-profile juvenile winner for Danehill Dancer.

The Aidan O’Brien-trained colt finished with a late rattle to beat Zacinto by a neck and a trip to America could now be on the cards.

"He is a progressive horse and Johnny said he could perhaps be one for the Breeders' Cup so we will think about that," said owner Michael Tabor.
