Tale of the Cat Mare Too Good

Goodbye Norma Jean (4m Tale of the Cat x Norma’s Legacy, by Red Ransom) has been in great form this year and added another feature race win to her resume when taking out the First Lady Handicap at Ruidoso Downs on Saturday.

The Henry Domingquez trained mare took the six furlong sprint by three parts of a length in taking her record to six wins and five placings from 13 starts with earnings of $185,580.

Purchased for $140,000 at the 2005 Keeneland September Yearling Sale, Goodbye Norma Jean is from the Red Ransom mare Norma’s Legacy, who comes from the family of European Group One stars Sulamani and Dream Well.
