Megapixel Wires Field in Van Raalte Stakes

Improving colt Megapixel (3c Tale of the Cat -- Picture, by Roar) led wire-to-wire to take the Van Raalte Stakes at Saratoga on Thursday claiming his first Black Type success.

Trained by Carlos Martin, the three-year-old colt notched his fourth victory in nine starts with total prizemoney of $188,220.

Bred and owned by Flying Zee Stable, Megapixel broke quickly and headed to the rail in the seven-furlong race, then stubbornly held off two challengers to win by a neck.
