11th Winner for Lion Heart

Fresh from Group Two success at the weekend with classy colt Azul Leon, Lion Heart added a new winner to the tally when RB Lion King (2c Lion Heart x Hail the Queen by Danzatore) saluted at Delaware on Monday.

Improving from a debut second, RB Lion King settled in fifth place before surging to the line in the stretch to take the six furlong event by three-quarters of a length for trainer Randy Nunley.

Bred and retained to race by Dianne Waldron, RB Lion King is from the stakes-winning mare Hail the Queen and becomes the 11^th individual winner for Lion Heart who leads the North American first season sires division.
