Travolta Wins Stakes by Five

Leading sire Grand Slam posted his second stakes-winner in two days when Travolta (4g Grand Slam x Defiant Beauty, by Capote) scorched away to win the My Frenchman Stakes at Monmouth.The Jason Servis trained gelding took the five and a half furlong contest by five lengths in landing his first Black Type success.
Raced by La Marca Stable, Travolta has won four of 13 starts earning $112,625 and is from the Capote mare Defiant Beauty, a daughter of Chilean Group One winner Bella di Notte.
