Macau Stakes Win for US Fu Peg

American bred Si Foo (4g Fusaichi Pegasus x Ascension, by Night Shift) landed a feature race win in Macau at the weekend when taking out the Summer Trophy Mac Gr 3 at Taipa.

Si Foo took the 1200 metre event on turf by three-quarters of a length in taking his overall record to seven wins from 14 starts.

Bred and retained to race by Mr Norman Cheng, Si Foo campaigned successfully in the UK winning three races there prior to his transfer to Macau last year and has really hit his straps in his new environment.

Si Foo is from the Group Three winning Nigh Shift mare Ascension, who has also left a winner by Grand Slam.
