$300,000 for Dehere Colt

Evergreen shuttle sire Dehere made his presence felt at the Fasig Tipton Saratoga Yearling Sale this week when his colt from gray Sapphire made $300,000 when knocked down to legendary trainer D Wayne Lucas.

Consigned by Paramount Sales, the colt is the second foal of unraced Forestry mare Gray Sapphire, a daughter of smart stakes-winner Bel’s Starlet, a Group One placed winner of 13 races.
