Flawless Win for Starry Pursuit

Progressive filly Starry Pursuit (3f Van Nistelrooy x Star White, by Naevus) scored an all the way win in the Listed Flawlessly Stakes at Hollywood Park on Friday.

The Jerry Hollendorfer trained filly led from the outset and was never headed in cruising home to take the mile event on turf by a length.

Raced by Peter Abruzzo and John Carver, Starry Pursuit has now won five of six starts earning $194,685 in prizemoney.

Starry Pursuit is from stakes-placed Star White, a half-sister by Naevus to stakes-winner Afrashad.
