Dual G1 winner Refinement to Mountain High

Michael Tabor’s brilliant home-bred mare Refinement (9m Oscar-Maneree, by Mandalus) has been retired and will be among Mountain High’s first book at stud.

Refinement was trained by Jonjo O’Neill to win 13 races including the G1 Champion INH Flat Race at the 2005 Punchestown Festival and the 2007 G1 Champion Stayers Hurdle back at Punchestown.

The Ballymacoll Stud-bred Mountain High, by Danehill out of the G1 Yorkshire Oaks winner Hellenic, has been understandably well received in his first year at stud. A very good-looking, athletic horse, he was a top-class racecourse performer, winning the G1 Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud.
