Bach’s son Hebridean just gets better and better
27th May 2008
The Bach three-year-old Hebridean (3g Bach-Delphinium, by Dr Massini) continued his improvement at the Curragh on Sunday when winning the G3 Airlie Stud Gallinule Stakes by two lengths from Lisvale.(3c Danehill Dancer-Farthingale, by Nashwan).
Aidan O’Brien trains Hebridean for his wife Anne-Marie and Royal Ascot could now be on the agenda.
"He is an amazing horse and has got better and better with every run," said the winning trainer. "Johnny (Murtagh) said he took him into the race with a double handful again. He is gelded so isn’t in any Derbys - can you believe it!
"I'll have a look at Royal Ascot and the big races there over a mile and half, with the G2 King Edward VII Stakes a possibility."
