Lashes leads Galileo fillies’ double

The Jim Bolger-trained Lush Lashes (3f Galileo-Dance For Fun, by Anabaa) headed a big double for daughters of Galileo on Thursday when running away with the G3 Tattersalls Musidora Stakes at York by five lengths.
On Thursday evening at Naas, the Aidan O’Brien-trained Adored (3f Galileo-Sudden Hope, by Darshaan) was also an impressive winner when capturing the G3 Blue Wind Stakes.
Lush Lashes, who won a million euros when capturing the Goffs Fillies Million on her debut last year, is a hot favourite for the G1 Oaks at Epsom next month after beating a top-class field at York but Bolger is undecided on her next target.
"Her next race will be an Oaks, either at Epsom or the Curragh, and it’s possible she could run in both, although running in the G1 Irish Oaks is a more likely option."
Kevin Manning, who partnered Lush Lashes, added: "She was very, very impressive. There wasn't much pace early on, but they quickened a long way from home. I have no worries about her getting a mile and a half. She quickened up well and galloped all the way to the line."
Lush Lashes was bred by Ann Jenkins.
Meanwhile, Adored is as short as 12/1 for the G1 Oaks at Epsom after her success at Naas, where she scored by a length and a quarter from stablemate Tiffany Diamond.
"She’s come on a lot since her maiden win. She’s a big, strong, galloping filly with plenty of scope and a bit of class," said jockey Johnny Murtagh, who had flown over from York to take the ride on Adored.
