Smart HK Winner for Choisir

Smart three year-old Amazing Choisir (3g Choisir x Lisa's Fast Step, by Alwuhush) posted his third win when scraping home in a thrilling finish to take the Class Three event over 1650 metres by a head.

Cluttered away back in the field, Brett Prebble did a good job to get Amazing Choisir home as he threaded a path through runners and swept home near the inside to score a good win.

The Caspar Fownes trained Amazing Choisir has now won three of his last four starts and is obviously in sparkling form.

A $100,000 Magic Millions purchase for the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Amazing Choisir was offered for sale by Broadwater Farm and is a half-brother to smart Sydney mare Les Roses being from the imported Lisa’s Fast Step.

Choisir is the leading second crop sire in Australia by individual winners with 35 winners since August 1.
