Seventh heaven for One Cool Cat

Less than 24 hours after Icesolatar gave One Cool Cat his sixth individual first-crop winner at Goodwood, the debutant Diglett (2c One Cool Cat-Rich Gift, by Cadeaux Genereux) made it victory number seven in Rome on Sunday.

Az Agr Valle Falcone’s home-bred took the 1,000 metre-contest convincingly by a length.

European Bloodstock News wrote: "One Cool Cat’s flying start to the season continued. Diglett outran Stayloss (Colossus) inside the last furlong, with the pair well in front of the rest of the field. He is a half-brother to the fine juvenile Black Mambazo (Statue of Liberty), who won last season’s Listed Premio Alberto Giubilo. Their dam Rich Gift, third in the Listed Flying Fillies Stakes, cost Piero Riccardi 30,000gns and she has foaled two other winners."
