Royal Prado a Winner at First Asking at Churchill

Royal Prado (Royal Academy -- P J Prado, by El Prado) drove clear in the stretch to win his debut at Churchill Downs by 1 3/4 lengths. The three-year-old gelding, owned and bred by Clifford J. Grum, Jr., threatened the early pace, then settled back in the turn in the 6-furlong race before driving on in the final furlong for the win.
