Tale of the West Romps by 7 1/4 at First Asking

Tale of the West (Tale of the Cat -- Western Dreamer by Gone West) capped a weekend of winners for Tale of the Cat at Keeneland by romping home to win by 7 1/4 lengths in her debut. The three-year-old filly, owned by Gulf Coast Farms and bred by J. Fred Miller III, jumped straight to the lead from the gate, stretched out a five-length advantage at the top of the turn, and drove home easily in the 6-furlong contest.
