$800,000 for Fastnet Rock Colt

Leading freshman sire Fastnet Rock continued his strong showing at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale with a colt from Rare Insight fetching $800,000 to the bid of Sydney based bloodstock agent Steve Brem.

Consigned as Lot 318 by Orange Grove Thoroughbreds the colt is the first foal of his Group Two winning dam, a half-sister to dual Group One winner Glamour Puss.

A champion sprinter by legendary sire Danehill, Fastnet Rock has had 20 yearlings average $347,250 providing breeders with a sensational return on his $55,000 service fee.
