Medicine on the right path
13th April 2008
Four-year-old Medicine Path (4c Danehill Dancer-Indian Mystery, by Indian Ridge) gave Danehill Dancer his latest stakes success at Doncaster on Saturday when easily winning the Listed Doncaster Mile.
John Fretwell’s colt, who recently joined Peter Chapple-Hyam’s stable, won the Listed Ladybird Stakes at Kempton in February and now looks set for a step up in class after his cosy victory at Doncaster.
"He’s always been a good horse and, although he isn't a great work horse at home, he’s proved himself today," said Chapple-Hyam. "He’ll go for the G2 Sandown Mile now."
Medicine Path was bred by Jenny Hall and was bought by Fretwell for 34,000gns at the 2005 Doncaster St Leger Yearling Sale.
