Tale of the Cat Colt Sells for $460,000 at Keeneland April

10th April 2008

Hip 131, a Tale of the Cat colt out of the Torrential mare Lady Linda, dropped the hammer at a smart price of $460,000 at last night's Keeneland April Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale. The colt, who breezed a furlong in 10 1/5 seconds, was bred by Domino Stud and consigned by Eddie Woods. "He's a beautiful-looking horse; very athletic, but still immature," said Woods. "He still has a ways to go, but a really sound, nice horse." Hip 131 was purchased by Narvick International, and will race in California for Marsha Naify.
