$500,000 for Fastnet Rock Colt

First season sire Fastnet Rock enjoyed a great result with his quality colt from the Rory’s Jester mare Street Mate that made $500,000 during the second session of the 2008 Magic Millions Yearling Sale on the Gold Coast.

Bred and offered for sale by Bowness Stud as Lot 338, the colt was snapped up by American based buyer John Brocklebank providing an outstanding result for his breeders.

The powerhouse bay colt is the second foal of Street Mate, a winning grand-daughter of Group One winner Strawberry Fair.
