Top Lots at HK Sale for Encosta de Lago

Encosta de Lago provided two of the top three lots at Part Two of the HK International Sale conducted at Sha Tin on Saturday morning.

His colt from Lane’s End shared top honours making $HK6,500,000, the three-quarter brother-in-blood to Group Three winner Chong Tong knocked down to Cheng Keung Fai having originally fetched $420,000 at Magic Millions last year for Bowness Stud.

Also popular was the colt from Group Three winner Vital Consent that made $HK5,500,000 to the bid of Kwok Siu Ming. A half-brother to Group Two winner Red Hannigan and stakes-winner Vital Agreement, the Gooree Stud bred colt made $500,000 at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale last year when consigned by Widden Stud.
