$200,000 Filly for Fastnet Rock

Champion sprinter Fastnet Rock hit his straps on the last day of the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale with a powerful bay filly from La Rumba that made $200,000.

Offered for sale as Lot 580 by Glentree Downs as agent for Groves Bloodstock, the filly is the second foal of Group Three winning Centaine mare La Rumba and was knocked down to astute Victorian trainer Brian Mayfield-Smith.

Fastnet Rock ended the sale as the second leading first season sire by average with eight yearlings averaging $101,875.
