Lion Heart Colt Fetches $175,000

First season sire Lion Heart has made a splash at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale where his colt from Biloba made $175,000 to the bid of Victorian trainer Byron Cozamanis during Monday's session.Offered by leading South Australian stud farm Mill Park, the dashing chestnut was offered as Lot 356 and is from the family of accomplished Group One weight-for-age star Desert War.
After two sessions of this sale Lion Heart is running second on the first season sires averages with three youngsters averaging $100,833.
