Encosta Leads Sire Averages at Premier

Leading sire Encosta de Lago took over at the top of the leading sires by average list after two days of the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale with five youngsters averaging $276,000 led by the sale-topping filly from Almighty Sister that made $490,000 during Monday's session.

Offered by Ultra Thoroughbreds as Lot 318 and knocked down to bloodstock agent Paul Guy under his Heritage Bloodstock banner, the filly is a half-sister to stakes-winner Mighty Raja and stakes-placed Grace and Power.
