Excellent Art is champion

Excellent Art (4c Pivotal-Obssessive, by Seeking The Gold) - who joins the Coolmore roster in 2008 - was jointly-rated Europe’s Champion Three-Year-Old Miler of 2007 in the World Thoroughbred Rankings.

Excellent Art was rated 122, a mark he shared with the filly Darjina, after a season that included a brilliant victory in the G1 St James’s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot and second place in the G1 Breeders’ Cup Mile.

The son of Pivotal was also an outstanding two-year-old, winning the G2 Mill Reef Stakes at Newbury and Listed National Stakes at Sandown.
