Charm the Giant Sweeps to Intercontinental Victory

Charm the Giant (Giant's Causeway -- Olympic Charmer, by Olympio) came roaring back from a 6-month layoff to win the Intercontinental Handicap at Hollywood Park. The five-year-old mare won two stakes in California in the spring before heading to the sidelines in May. Charm the Giant tracked the leaders in third, and then rolled past them in the stretch to win the 1-mile contest by three lengths. Charm the Giant now has seven victories and over $336,000 to her name.
