Hennessy Colt, Grand Slam Filly Among Keeneland Session Toppers

A Hennessy colt and a Grand Slam filly were among the top 5 sellers in Thursday's session at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale. Hip 1195, a colt by Hennessy out of Sacred Promise, brought the hammer down at $700,000. Bred by Highclere and consigned by Eaton Sales, the colt was purchased by Demi O'Byrne. Earler, hip 1132, a Grand Slam -- My Success filly, was sold for $410,000. Bred by Robert and Lowana Low and consigned by Taylor Made, the filly was purchased by Frankfort Park Farm.
