Giant's Causeway Produces Two More $1M+ Fillies at Keeneland
12th September 2007
Giant's Causeway fillies continued to sell extremely well on day 2 of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale, as two of them brought more than $1 million each on Tuesday. Hip 378, out of Maysville's Magic, was the second-highest priced filly of the day, bringing $1,550,000 for breeder Sha-Li Leasing Association and consignor Lane's End. Hip 378 was purchased by Chiefswood Stables. Not long after the hammer dropped on Hip 378, Hip 495, a filly out of Win's Fair Lady, sold to Hugo Merry Bloodstock for $1.2 million. Hip 495 was bred by ClassicStar Powerfoal Stable and consigned by Taylor Made.
