Third Listed winner for Choisir

The unstoppable Choisir enjoyed his second stakes winner in six days - and his third in total - when Luna Nel Pozzo (2f Choisir-Luna d’Estate, by Alzao) landed the Listed Premio Repubbliche Marinare Tattersalls in Rome for trainer Luigi Riccardi.

The 70,000 euro yearling, who was bred by Razza del Sole, had also won on her debut in Rome on May 29.

Luna Nel Pozzo’s victory follows a runway success for the Richard Hannon-trained Fat Boy (2c Choisir-Gold Shift, by Night Shift) in the Listed Champion Two-Year-Old Trophy at Ripon on Monday.

Choisir has also got another black-type winner to his name in Porto Marmay (2f Choisir - Nordicolini, by Nordico), winner of the Listed Danehill Dancer Tipperary Stakes at Tipperary.
