Thunder Gulch Notches Two Stakes Wins on Saturday

Thunder Gulch produced two stakes winners on Saturday, when Revival Ridge (Thunder Gulch -- Renaissance Fair, by Theatrical) and Whisper to Me (Thunder Gulch -- Word to the Wise, Diesis) came home victorious. Revival Ridge captured the Regaey Island Stakes at Ellis Park by a nose, outlasting rivals in the 1 1/6-mile contest. Later, Whisper to Me scored in the Lyrique Stakes at Louisiana Downs, splitting foes in the final furlong and finishing well to win by 1 3/4 lengths.
