Conditions winner for Choisir

Less than a week after he enjoyed a stakes success with Porto Marmay (2f Choisir - Nordicolini by Nordico) in the Listed Danehill Dancer Tipperary Stakes, Choisir was responsible for a smart Newmarket conditions event winner when Fat Boy (2c Choisir-Gold Shift by Night Shift) scored easily on Friday night.

Richard Hannon’s charge, bred by Peter Mooney and a £70,000 graduate of Goffs’ Kempton Breeze-Up Sale, is now set to bid to give Choisir more black type.

"He’s a very nice horse, he’s done it well and we’re very pleased with him," said Richard Hannon jnr, assistant to his father. "We’ll now go back up in grade and might have a look at a few nice races for him."
