Sale-Topping Mare In Foal to Danehill Dancer

The broodmare section of the 2007 Inglis Great Southern Sale concluded on Thursday and was topped by well-related matron Chicago Wonder (7m Bluebird – Western Chorus, by Western Symphony), who was offered in foal to Danehill Dancer, fetching $245,000 to the bid of Paringa Park.Bred and offered for sale by Tremon Thorougbreds, Chicago Wonder featured in the earlier part of the sale when her weanling colt by Flying Spur topped his section with a bid of $240,000.
Unraced Chicago Wonder is a half-sister to Hong Kong Group One winner Jeune King Prawn and smart Listed winner Creative Plan, while her Group Three winning dam Western Chorus, produced a cracking Danehill Dancer colt that was sold at the 2007 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale for $600,000.
