Orpen Juvenile Wins by Five

11th June 2007

The Greg Hickman trained juvenile Without Compromise (2g Orpen – Salor’s Choice, by Yeats) opened his winning account at Randwick on Monday with a runaway five length victory in the Class Three event for two year-olds over 1400 metres.

Having just his third race start, the gelding reveled in the heavy conditions to score an imposing win.

Bred and offered for sale by Inverell based breeder Mr R L 'Tig' Moses, Without Compromise was snaffled for just $9,000 at the 2006 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale and has already won $27,000 for his large group of owners.

Without Compromise is a half-brother to the good metropolitan winner Slick Operator and his dam Sailor’s Choice is now in foal to Antonius Pius (USA).
