Tale of the Cat, Grand Slam Finish 1-2 in Open Mind Stakes

Taletobetold (Tale of the Cat -- Exigent, by Miswaki) held off Simply Divine (Grand Slam -- Fashion Editor, by Deputy Minister) to take the Open Mind Stakes by a length at Churchill Downs on Saturday. Taletobetold gained the lead from the gate in the five-furlong contest, battled evenly with Simply Divine for much of the race, and pulled away just before the wire for the win.
