Double for unstoppable Choisir
22nd April 2007
There is no stopping Choisir’s first crop at present and the brilliant sprinter enjoyed a double at Naas and Nottingham on Saturday.
The Loan Express (2f Choisir-Mamma’s Too by Skyliner), bred by Gestut Romerhof, looks set to try for black type after winning a Naas maiden on her debut for trainer Tommy Stack.
"She’d been working well at home and has the option of going for a Listed race at the Curragh next month or one for fillies at York," said Stack’s son and assistant Fozzy.
Meanwhile the well-regarded Group Therapy (2c Choisir-Licence To Thrill by Wolfhound) is another who looks destined for bigger things.
Bred at Chris Wright’s Stratford Place Stud, he won a five-furlong maiden at Nottingham for trainer Jamie Osborne.
