High Chaparral has first winner

The brilliant six-time G1 scorer High Chaparral sired his first winner when By Chaparral (2f High Chaparral - Spring Morning by Ashkalani) landed a maiden at Lyon-Parilly in France for trainer Marc Pimbonnet.

The filly was bred in partnership by the Marquesa de Moratalla and Aliette Forien and provided a first success for her sire, one of the greatest modern-day racehorses and winner of the G1 Epsom Derby, G1 Irish Derby, G1 Irish Champion Stakes, G1 Racing Post Trophy and G1 Breeders’ Cup Turf twice (including a dead-heat).
