BAGHDARIA ROMPS TO 7-LENGTH WIN IN THE SWEETHEART STAKES

BAGHDARIA (Royal Academy -- Oatsee, by Unbridled) dominated the field in the Sweetheart Stakes at Delta Downs on Friday, winning by 7 1/4 lengths. Bumped at the start, the 4-year-old filly quickly vied for the lead and won handily in the one-mile test. ROYAL ACADEMY is now third in worldwide earnings among North American sires, behind only HENNESSY and FUSAICHI PEGASUS.
