RELATO DEL GATO (Tale of the Cat -- Sole, by Topsider) opened up a wide lead in the backstretch and kept to the task to win the $100,000 Phoenix Gold Cup Handicap on Saturday. It was the seventh career win for RELATO DEL GATO, and the second stakes winner of 2007 for TALE OF THE CAT, who is currently the sixth leading sire of 2007.
