OPRAH WINNEY (Royal Academy -- Mere Presence, by Woodman) responded to a strong hand urging in mid stretch to win the G2 Barbara Fritchie Breeders' Cup Handicap by 3/4 of a length on Saturday. Under Mike Smith, the 4-year-old filly posted her fifth win in 10 career starts. ROYAL ACADEMY is currently third in worldwide earnings among all North American sires.
